GIRL!

We had our second ultrasound just before Christmas and found out that we will be welcoming a little girl to the family. I'll never forget the moment the ultrasound tech said, "You guys are going to have a little lady." We kept the news to ourselves for a few days until we could get home to Tennessee to share the news with our family in person. We had them open up a small gift to reveal the gender... A special ornament for the tree adorned with an appropriate ribbon. Most were expecting a boy, so I think there was a real sense of surprise when everyone saw pink.

Wow. Christmas has came and gone in a huge rush (hence the week 20 and 21 mashup post). We received some fabulous baby gifts and affectionate belly rubbing over the holiday. Speaking of belly, it's a true "bump" these days. Our little one has grown so much and stays pretty active these days. With a little patience, both my mom and dad were able to feel her little movements.

Showing some belly love.
